The 5th BDS/IDS Conference took place in the lecture halls of the Physical Institute of the Lumière Lyon.
Since 1998 Lyon is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Cities. With its 2000 years old history, Lyon is not only attractive to foreign visitors but for local visitors, too. Industry and the university make Lyon to the second biggest academic and economic Rhône-Alpes Region.
